Our Story
Desigent Design Studio was established in 2014 as a passionate brainchild of Palak Mittal, an Architect and Interiors Designer from Delhi, who was empowered to act with a purpose. The purpose was to set up a full-service studio that caters to every possible design and delivery requirement of the client.
There was a time when the Design industry was divided between architects, engineers, and interior designers infused into handling their own task. There was a huge gap in the market, as companies providing complete concepts were minimal. After much thought, research and hard work, we decided it was time to change what it meant to be a design firm by giving birth to-Desigent. An Architecture and Interiors design studio based out of South Delhi, taking up architecture, interior, bespoke furniture and product design projects.

Right from space planning, design supervision to final execution, all our projects are created after a deep understanding of our customer’s needs. We desire to exceed your every expectation, innovatively.
It begins with:
Taking a design brief from client by listening carefully to your requirements in order to understand and determine your vision for the project.
‘Concept Stage’is the fun part where we get down to sketching and generating concepts. We brainstorm over ideas and convert them into reality with feasible solutions making sure your aesthetic and lifestyle needs form an essential part of our design.
After that, a detailed Design document is prepared and a budget is presented. This stage is called ‘Design Detailing’ because this is where concepts are refined, and full technical specification with close attention to detail are elaborated keeping in mind MEP services and safety of the project.
After attaining an approval on the final design, Execution and Coordination from the client, work at site begins. We materialize everything- like site supervision and quality inspection as per your vision so that each detail is well executed and delivered as per your project’s deadline.
All said and done, the best feeling is to see happy and content client faces after completing a project.

Palak Mittal has been captivating the design community with her exclusive and elegant style for over 8years now as a luxury interior designer in Delhi. With a strong background in architecture and product designing, Palak’s true passion lies in bringing elements to life. She pieces new ideas and techniques together to bring out the hidden beauty of a space in the most beautiful and functional manner.
Before venturing out on her own, Palak worked with some of the country’s renowned architects and leading designers. She is an Architect who graduated from the prestigious School Of Planning and Architecture, Delhi as well as a Product designer from renowned National Institute of design, Ahmedabad. But, it was her understanding of the relationship between a ‘part’ and the ‘whole’ that led her to change her dynamics and explore further.
According to her, “A small vase in a corner tells as much a story as the complete house does. Therefore, none can be neglected. In literal terms, my struggle to find the right furniture, lighting fixture and the perfect signage lead to designing products that suit personal requirements.”
Apart from being one of the best interior designer in South Delhi, Palak is also a trained Kathak dancer. She believes that ‘Dance’ and ‘Design’ share a special relationship since both the disciplines define and use space as the main medium for creative interpretation. Thus, her design philosophy draws inspiration and stresses a close link between the disciplines of ‘Dance and Design’ to create something that’s contemporary, impactful and can coexist in a surrounding with peace and not force. She strongly believes that design is a journey and not the end as different people experience it differently.
As a self-motivated, results-oriented individual, Palak enjoys exceeding challenges. Where some designers are applying their signature look to every project, Palak is spending time learning about the client, their vision, individuality, lifestyle in order to create personalized, one-of-a-kind designs.
