Kota house, in New Delhi, India is a buzzing socialising hub for Indian naval officers and their families. However, owing to its historic layout there was a severe parking crunch at the establishment. Additionally, they also wanted to transform the existing administrative block into a tech abode.
Now, we truly understand that a well-maintained parking lot and being in-sync with the evolving times is a reflection of the entity. Hence, we proposed the concept for stilt parking with a functional space above it. While the stilt parking increased parking space from 8 cars to 13 cars, the space above it was crafted into a lightweight office structure replete with modular fitments and a low maintenance inclined roof. Ergonomic and efficient space utilization in the interiors further enhanced the overall mood and productivity. Refabricated, insulated and inclined walls were also set in motion to conserve energy and to break the monotony of a long corridor.
